A few tips before you go

While pumpkin picking looks lovely in photos, remember that you're going into a field in October! Wellies or sturdy shoes are definitely recommended, especially if the weather has been wet.

It's also worth checking whether you need to book before setting off. Many of the more popular pumpkin patches use timed tickets and can sell out during weekends and half term. Pumpkin stocks can also change throughout the season, so check the latest information with the farm before you travel.
