It may only be September, but the mince pies are slowly sneaking onto shelves, the nights are drawing in, and suddenly we're starting to wonder if we have enough chairs to host December 25th.

One of the biggest things to plan for Christmas is the food. Whether you're hosting the whole family, avoiding turkey, or just looking for stocking fillers, there's a lot to think about, and once the festive season starts properly, there's less and less time to browse busy stores in search of what you need. Making a list (checking it twice) and booking a delivery slot as early as possible can be a great way of staying organised.

Stores will also be putting 100s of products on offer between now and the Big Day, so making a list of non-perishable items you'll need means you can keep an eye on prices and add on to a regular shop when you know you're getting a great price.

If you're planning on making savings this festive season and beyond, we've pulled together Supermarket festive offers, Delivery slots, and other key information to help you plan ahead and enjoy the festive season!

As information and availability are limited, it can be subject to change at short notice. Always check the latest site information for the relevant store.

ASDA

The ASDA Rewards App allows you to earn rewards all year in pounds rather than points - simply spend in-store or complete in-app missions to earn cash pots. Scan at the checkout, earn cash pots, and convert them into vouchers. Asda Rewards also gives you Coupons, which are personalised and can be redeemed in-store or online.

Asda has now launched a Christmas Cashpot saver - until 15th November, you can transfer your cashpoints into this designated saver. You can then create and spend them between 20th November and 31st December, meaning the points won't expire and are locked away till the festive season. Vouchers can be redeemed across Asda and George.

Delivery slots are not yet confirmed.

See the ASDA site for Terms and Conditions.

Morrisons

The Morrisons More Card and App allow you to earn points on each shop - once you reach 5,000 points, you can redeem them for a £5 voucher.

Morrisons have not yet announced their Christmas offers or delivery timetable, but in previous years have offered a Christmas Collectors Club - shoppers who hit a certain shopping threshold for 3 weeks out of 4 receive additional vouchers.

See the Morrisons site for Terms and Conditions

Tesco

The Tesco Clubcard unlocks a range of discounts in-store, allowing you to save on individual items and your whole shop.

Clubcard Christmas Savers - Clubcard members can save vouchers throughout the year to spend on their big Christmas shop, which they can also top up with cash to allow savings throughout the year, which can result in Tesco topping up your savings with bonus vouchers. The scheme ends on 25th October, and vouchers are sent out in November. See the Tesco site for full details.

Tesco has also released their key dates for delivery and Food to Order:

November 3rd - Anytime Delivery Saver customers can book any slot. Click+Collect Delivery Saver customers can book a collection slot.
5th November - All customers can book a delivery or Click+Collect slot.
14th December - Order your Festive Food to Order items
20-24th December - Your order will be delivered or ready to collect

See the Tesco Terms and Conditions for full details.

Sainsbury's

The Nectar App allows you to collect points and exclusive discounts personalised to your shopping habits. Plus, it links through to a number of other stores, such as Argos and British Airways, allowing you to collect even more points.

Sainsbury's Christmas Food to order will be available to collect on 22nd, 23rd and 24th December - a lot of this is online already if you're looking to get a list together!

See the Sainsbury's Terms and Conditions for full details.

Lidl

Lidl's Lidl Plus App helps you maximise your savings - scan the app when you checkout on your shopping in store, and earn points (£1 = 1 point). You can exchange those points for coupons! You also receive exclusive offers based on your favourite buys, occasional free items, and money off selected products in-store. Vouchers need to be activated before use and won't be added straight to your app.

Lidl Christmas will be launched in October 2026.

See the Lidl Site for full information.

Aldi

Aldi is one of the few supermarkets that don't currently offer a rewards programme; however, they have lots of in-store offers and savings that are available to all.

The Aldi Christmas range and offers are not yet live, but in the meantime, you can check out their guide on helping get organised early!

See the Aldi Terms and Conditions for full information.

Marks and Spencer

The M&S Sparks Card has been updated recently, and you can now get a great range of rewards! The Digital Sparks Wallet has been added, which allows you to earn money back when you spend on select items in-store. The app also contains personalised offers you can activate, a treat on your birthday, and for every 6 hot drinks you buy, you get one free!

Some select Christmas food is now in store, such as tinned chocolates and some bakery items; however, the official launch date has not yet been confirmed. A preview is now available if you're looking for inspiration - including the 2026 M&S Beauty Advent Calendar, which is out in stores on 13th October.

See the M&S Terms and Conditions for full information.

Ocado

If you are an M&S Shopper, you may have used Ocado. They don't have a traditional Loyalty Card, but offer their own Smart Pass Subscription. Members pay a fee depending on the tier they would like to join, which then means delivery on individual shops is free, priority booking at Christmas can be taken care of, and there are even some exclusive discounts and personalised rewards mixed in.

New users can save 25% on food on their first order and get 3 months of free delivery with the code 25OCADO - terms apply, so please check the site for full details and restrictions.

The official dates and deadlines are not yet announced; however, there is a Christmas Food section live already on Ocado, which we're sure will have plenty added to it! If you're looking to stock up in advance on treats for the festive season and store cupboard essentials, this is a great place to start

See Ocado's Terms and Conditions for full information.

Booths

Depending on where you are in the UK, you may not have a local branch of Booths; however, if you do have one nearby, it's a great destination for real luxury food shopping. Booths Card Members can enjoy money off their first shop, exclusive prices on products in store, free treats including a slice of cake on their birthday, 10% off all newspapers, and the chance to win back the cost of their shopping.

Christmas officially launches at Booths on 8th October 2026 - in the meantime, they have put together an exciting preview of some of the items available. Booths are also offering party food delivery slots on 30th and 31st of December, so if you're hosting New Year, you can still indulge! Not all Christmas foods will be extended, so make sure to check to avoid disappointment!

See the Booths Terms and Conditions for full information.

Waitrose

Unlike many other schemes, Waitrose has a loyalty programme that is not points-based. Free to join, the My Waitrose scheme offers members personalised discount codes, free daily hot drinks, and monthly rewards called 'Little Treats' when spending thresholds are met. The scheme can be used online and in-store for shopping.

Waitrose is rumoured to have over 600 products in their Christmas range, and you can browse a preview of them online now before the first launch on 21 September. Official Christmas Delivery slots are not yet announced, but it has been confirmed that Waitrose Delivery Pass holders will receive early access. Sadly, this will only apply to pass holders who joined the scheme before 01 September 2026, so if you're not already a pass holder, registering now will not count.

See the Waitrose Terms and Conditions for full information.
